After Breakfast drive to Axum thorough Tekeze river valley. Lunch on the way in small restaurants or lunch box. o/n hotel.

today is a full day visiting the sites in Axum. Sites to visit include the famous obelisks (one that was just erected after being returned from Italy), the Queen of Sheba’s Bath (which supplies water to Axum year-round), King Bazen’s tomb, and the Queen of Sheba’s Palace. You will also visit the St. Mary of Zion church, where the Ark of the Covenant is kept, according to local Ethiopian tradition. Men only are allowed to enter the old church. Unfortunately, no one (except one specially chosen guardian monk) is allowed to enter the chapel where the Ark is kept. Overnight in Axum.

After breakfast, drive to Geratla via the ruins of Yeha, dating from the 8th to 5th centuries BC, and thought to be the capital of Ethiopian before Axum. Afterwards head to the monastery Debre Damo , where only men are  allowed accesed to the church using up to 15-m rope. O/n hotel

Visit some churches of Geralta then continue to Mekele after visit Abreha we Atsibeha  wukiro kiros churches. O/n hotel.

Drive from Mekele to Lalibela, passing through the dramatic landscapes of the Ethiopian Highlands. The highlight of the day will be the ascent from Woldia to the stunning ascent to Mount Abuna Yosef. O/n hotel

Full day in Lalibella and visit the 11 rock-hewn churches of the first group, such as Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Maryam, Bete Meskel, Bete Danaghel, Bete Mikael & Bete Golgotha (entry not permitted for women). After lunch, continue with the Southeastern Cluster of churches – Bete Gabriel-Rufael, Bete Merkorios, Bete Amanual, and Bete Abba Libanos. Finally, visit the most famous of all the churches – Bet Giyorgis, a huge monolith in the shape of a cross, and constructed in honor of St. George, the patron saint of Ethiopia. Overnight in Lalibela.

In the morning, take mule trekking to the Asheton Maryam monastery. Hiking may be done on foot, or with mule. After lunch, take an afternoon trip to visit the church of Yimrehanne Kristos. The most popular churches outside Lalibela. it was built in the late-Axumite style, with layers of wood and granite, set in the entrance to a large cavern. O/n hotel

Depart from Lalibela to Kombolcha via Woldia, stopp in the town of Hayk, to visit the monastery Haik Estiphanos. O/n hotel.

In the morning, head to Addis Abeba with a stop at the town of Debrebirhan for lunch. On the way you pass the Mezezo Escarpment where you can have a chance to see the endemic gelada baboons. Also, if the day is Monday, enjoy the beautiful Bati market where the Amhara, Oromo and Afar people are coming together for commercial transactions. If necessary, more sightseeing in Addis Abeba. Then late in the evening attend farewale party at one ot traditional restaurants. Transfer to the air port  and fly back home. End of our service.
